Kebir brings together choreographers and dancers Andrea Bou Othmane and Nassim Baddag with the voice of Mohammed El Arabi-Serghini in an unexpected and delicate dialogue between contemporary dance and traditional song.

The work was born from an encounter with a familiar voice, opening a space to explore memory, transmission and the ways in which each generation transforms the heritage it receives. Through movement and song, the three performers seek common ground between their personal histories, generations and artistic practices.

Unfolding like a gradually emerging poem, Kebir is a sensitive exploration of the invisible bonds that connect us, and of how what we inherit can be transformed and carried forward.
